  • Paper pattern
  • Method:
      1. Cut paper pattern for door hanger in size of 250mm height x100mm width, 65mm diameter circle for door knob size as shown. Roll purple colored clay into a ball and cut out the door hanger shape according to the paper pattern.
        2. Roll neon green clay into a long blunt end shape, then flatten slightly.
      3. Roll a groove to make the eye orbits slightly above half of the face. Smooth the lower side edges. Press slightly at the centre of eyebrow downwards for facial expression. Press at the centre of the face to make a hollow area to place the nose later on.
        4. Mark a crease at the middle of eyebrow with Makin's Rasp. Press at the lower end with index finger to make the neck as shown. Press the face on the sides to form the cheekbone.
        5. Roll two 5mm diameter glow in dark balls and shape them as shown to make eyeballs. Stick a small black dot as pupil on each eyeball.
        6. Roll neon green clay into a teardrop shape to make the nose. Indent 2 nostrils with Makin's Chisel as shown.
        7. Roll Neon green clay into a long rope to make the mouth. Mark a horizontal line at the centre of the rope with Makin's Rasp to define the lip. Slightly manipulate the shape of mouth as shown. Mark at the corners of lip for opening with the small stick of the Makin's Clay Mixing Ruler.
      8. Roll neon green clay into two teardrops for the ears then flatten. Press the centre with the large stick of the Makin's Clay Mixing Ruler to make the ears. Stick all pieces in place as shown.
    9. Indent holes in the temples for pin insertion. Roll yellow clay into a pin shape then press a small disk onto the end to make a pinhead. Texture as shown then stick into the head.
      10. Roll black clay into a rectangular sheet with Makin's Roller. Cut the hair shape as shown with scissors. Cover it on top of the head press to fit the contour of head. Texture the hair with Makin's Mallet as shown then press to flatten the top of head with Makin's Roller.
      11. Roll black clay into a rope. Wet the forehead and place the black rope on as shown to make the scar. Slightly press with finger to flatten.
      12. Roll neon orange clay to make the words. Cut out the words with Makin's Alphabet-Cutter Set. Turn the alphabet on reverse side, press along the edges of alphabet with Makin's Mallet for melting effect.
      13. Roll neon orange clay into teardrops to make three pairs of eyes. Roll black clay into ovals to make pupils.
        14. Stick the face of monster, the words and small spooky eyes in place on the hanger.
