Supplies:
* Makin's Clay®

  • Clay Gun Extruder (4mm diameter one hole disc)

  • Other Materials:
  • Stainless steel ruler
  • Straw (diameter: 6mm)
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • White glue
  • Scissors
  • Method:
      1. Roll gray colored clay into a sheet and cut into size according the paper reference given. (Cut two large hexagons)
      2. For the rectangles, cut off the corners to make a trapezium shape. Assemble the hexagon and the sides as shown and secure with glue.
    3. On the second hexagon lay the smaller hexagon pattern on top. Trace with Makin's Chisel. Extrude a string of clay with Makin's Clay Gun Extruder and align onto the traced line.
    4. Roll glow-in-the-dark clay into a sheet then cut according to the cross reference. Lay the cross on the coffin.
        5. Roll black clay into a teardrop for the body and slightly flatten the sections where the limbs will be joined.
    6. Roll black clay into the shapes shown in the diagram. Blend the ball to the log. Shape the ball end into a hand then cut with scissors to make fingers.
    7. Shape black clay into legs as shown. Glue parts together then adjust the position of the limbs as desired.
    8. Shape glow-in-the-dark clay as shown in the diagram for the head. Indent the mouth with a clay pusher.
        9. For the teeth, roll white clay into a small log that fits into the indent of the head. Roll black clay into thin threads and wrap the ropes around the white clay. Insert into the mouth.
    10. Roll black clay into a sheet them stamp out with Makin's Clay Cutters (Animals). Cut the heart shape in half then soften edges to make eyes. Cut a small triangle for the nose then attach to the head. Attach the head to the body.
    11. Roll glow-in-the-dark clay into the shape of the bones then attach to the body.
        12. Attach the skeleton onto the coffin.
