Supplies:

  • 120g Black Clay
  • 120g White Clay

  • Recommended Makin's® Tools:
  • Clay Tool Set (Mallet)
  • Clay Mixing Ruler™

  • Method:
    1. Roll orange colored clay into teardrop shape and bend to form legs. Cut toes with scissors and shape with Makin's Rasp. Embed a toothpick into the leg for support.
    2. Roll yellow clay into an egg shape then slightly sharpen smaller end to make the tail.
    3. Roll yellow clay into small teardrops then flatten to form wings. Add details with Makin's Mallet. Stick the wings to the side of the body.
        4. Put two holes into the base of the chick to attach legs. Stick legs into the body.
    5. Roll orange colored clay into small cones. Cut the middle with scissors, but do not cut right through. Indent and shape beak with Makin's Mallet. Attach beak to chick.
        6. Make and add eyes onto the chick.
        7. Arrange the chick beside the Easter egg basket (Please refer to Project "Easter Egg Basket" for instructions.)
