  • Recommended Makin's® Tools:
  • Chisel
  • Mallet
  • Roller
  • Roller & Cutter
  • Clay Mixing Ruler™
  • Clay Cutters (Round - Medium size)
  • Texture Sheets (Lace) and (Dot)
  • Other Materials:
  • Ruler
  • White glue
  • Scissors
  • Straws (diameter: 3mm)
  • Silver glitter glue
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Method:
      1. Roll white and brown Clay into sheets then stamp out two circles of each color with Makin's Clay Cutters (Circle). Stack the circles together as shown then roll on the edge to flatten.
      2. Indent eight holes evenly on the top with the small rod in Makin's Clay Mixing Ruler. Role a variety of different colored clays into balls then place into the indentations.
    3. Roll two colored clays of choice into strings then twist together to make the candle as shown.
    4. Make the flame by mixing yellow and red clay unevenly. Attach the flame to the candle then stick the candle into the cake.
        5. Make candy canes using the same method as the candles.
    6. Roll light brown colored clay into a ball then flatten to make the donut. Add a layer of neon pink clay into the donut as the icing. Hollow out the centre with a straw.
        7. Roll pink colored clay into a sheet then roll over the top with Makin's Texture Sheets (Lace) with Makin's Roller. Cut into a rectangular shape.
        8. Roll light purple colored clay into a sheet then roll over then top with Makin's Texture Sheet (Dot) to make the ribbon. Cut into a rectangle with Makin's Mallet. Pin words on the ribbon with Makin's Chisel. Bend the ribbon as shown. Arrange all items onto the base as shown in the diagram.
