  • 60g Natural clay
  • 60g Brown clay
  • 60g Green clay
  • 60g Yellow clay
  • 120g White clay
  • 120g Red clay




  • Recommended Tools:

  • Makin's Brand® Roller
  • Makin's Brand® Clay Cutter (Star – small size)
  • Makin's Brand® Clay Mixing Ruler
  • Makin's Brand® Texture Sheet (Brick)

  • Other Materials:
  • 1 piece of 8” Green Ribbon or Gold Cord
  • Aleene's Original Tacky Glue
  • Black Pen

  • 1. Mix Red clay and Blue clay to produce the fireplace color using Makin’s Brand™ Clay Mixing Ruler (F (Red clay) + C (Blue clay) totally three times. Use Makin’s Brand™ Roller to flatten it with 3mm thick. Cut it into the shape of house with Makin’s Brand™ Mallet.
    2. Use Makin’s Brand™ Texture Sheet (Brick) to cover the house layout.

    3. Slightly press down the Makin’s Brand™ Texture Sheet (Brick) to mark the brick grain.

    4. Roll out a thin piece of White clay to make the snow, then, stick it on the chimney and roof.

    5. Use Makin’s Brand™ Mallet to make the roof smooth.

    6. Mix White clay and Blue clay to produce the Light Blue color. Use the Light Blue clay as two pieces of glass for the windows using Makin’s Brand™ Roller, keep the thickness at 1mm.

    7. Mix Yellow clay, Red clay and Blue clay to produce the Wood color using Makin’s Brand™ Clay Mixing Ruler (G (Yellow clay) + A (Red clay) + A (Blue clay)). Use the Wood clay as the windows’ frame.
    8. Again, use the Wood color to make two pieces of rectangles. Mark the grains on the rectangles as two pieces of wood, stick them together in a “T” shape to form the doorplate.
    9. Stick the windows and the doorplate on the house pendant.
    10. Take out about 2/3 pack of the clay from a pack of 120g Makin’s White clay. Roll it into a long tube. Use Makin’s Brand™ Mallet to make it as snow and make a concave area on the right side for later use. Stick the snow on the house pendant.
    11. Roll out a thin piece of Green clay to make the small wreath and stick near the roof. Also, roll out a thin piece of Pink clay to make a butterfly knot and stick on the wreath.

    12. Mix Yellow clay and Red clay to produce the Orange color using Makin’s Brand™ Clay Mixing Ruler (G (Yellow clay) + E (Red clay)) to make the bear’s hands, head and ears.

    Mix Yellow clay and red clay to produce the Light Orange color using Makin’s Brand™ Clay Mixing Ruler (F (Yellow clay) + E (Red clay)) to make the bear’s nose and mouth.

    13. Stick the ears and the muzzle on the bear’s face. Use Makin’s Brand™ Mallet to draw a line as the bear’s mouth.

    14. Roll out a thin piece of Red clay to make a hat. Roll out two thin pieces of Natural clay to make a rectangular hape and a round ball, then stick them on the hat. Use Makin’s Brand™ Mallet to mark the grain for the hat

     

    15. Roll out a thin piece of Brown clay to make the bear’s nose, stick it on the muzzle. Use Makin’s Brand™ Chisel to enhance the shape of the mouth.
    16. Use a black pen to mark the bear’s eyes.

    17. Mix White clay and Yellow Clay to produce the Light Yellow color with Makin’s Brand™ Clay Mixing Ruler (F (White clay) + B (Yellow clay)). Flatten it using Makin’s Brand™ Roller, make it into a rectangular shape then cut it in half to make the scarf.

    Mix Yellow clay and Red clay to produce Orange color using Makin’s Brand™ Clay Mixing Ruler (G (Yellow clay) + E (Red clay)). Roll a ball and flatten it a little bit to form the body. Roll four fat teardrops and use two of them as the legs, the other two as arms. Stick the legs on the body.

     

    18. Stick the scarf on the bear’s neck to connect the head and body.
    19. Stick the arms on the bear’s body. Repeat Step 12 to 18 to make four bears with different sizes, you can change the scarf to other colors if you like.
    20. Take out about 2/3 of the clay from a pack of 60g Makin’s Green Clay. Roll out 4 pieces of triangles in different sizes and make the tree skirt. Stick them together with the smallest on the top.
    21. Use Makin’s Brand™ Chisel to mark some grain on the tree.
    22. Roll out a thin piece of Yellow clay using Makin’s Brand™ Clay Cutters (Star – small size) to make a star.
    23. Stick the star on the top of the tree. Roll out a thin piece of Brown clay to make the tree trunk. Roll out a thin piece of Yellow clay and Blue clay to make the decoration for the tree. Roll out a thin piece of Red clay, Yellow clay and Blue clay to make balls as the ornaments and stick them on the tree.
    24. Stick the bears and the tree on the house pendant.
    Final. Pierce a hole on the left hand side and right hand side of the pendant. Thread with a thin green ribbon or gold cord through the hole in the clay.

    Please note – You can adjust this pattern with more or less bears – to personalize.
