| 1.
Pendant: Roll 4 red 3/8" ropes and 4
white 3/8" ropes. Place them next to each other alternately
and roll into a flat sheet about 1/8" thick. Cut with
Heart Clay Cutter. Roll Blue clay to 1/8" thick and
cut with Heart Clay Cutter. Cut left upper corner off
striped heart. Lay on top of blue heart and cut out
exact size corner piece. Place blue corner piece in
missing corner of striped heart. Roll small piece of
white clay to 1/8" thick and cut small star from Mini
Geo Cutter Set. Put on blue part of heart. Roll pendant
lightly to blend edges together. Make hole in top of
pendant. Dry completely.

Polka Dot Beads: Roll blue clay into
a ball. Make several tiny balls of white. Lightly press
the white balls onto the blue ball. Roll the ball to
gently smooth it. Poke a hole through the bead from
both directions using a toothpick. Make ten polka dot
beads. Let dry.

Roll 3 white ropes and 3 red ropes. Place
alternately side by side and roll flat. Cut into approximately
1" sections (this will vary depending on how large you
want the hole) and wrap around a small dowel rod blending
edges together. Slide gently off dowel to dry. Make
eight cylinder beads. Let dry.

| Final.
Cut 1 yard of hemp. Fold in half and push fold from front
to back through hole in heart. Put ends of hemp thought
loop created. Pull snuggly. String polka dot bead on one
side of necklace and tie a knot. Repeat steps using Polka
Dot beads and four cylinder beads per side. Repeat bead
stringing on other side of necklace. Measure to fit easily
over your head and tie the two strings together. Cut off
extra help if desired. |
