1.
Take out about 1/ 6 of the clay from each 60gm pack,
wrap up the remaining clay and place in an airtight
container for future use. Using the Makin's Brand Mat
and Roller, roll out the clay into small rectangles
to make 3 separate sheets of Black, Blue and White clay
of 0.5~1mm thickness. Repeat this step five times until
you have a total of 15 small sheets.
Pile the clay sheets on top of each other, using a different
color for each layer to form a 'loaf' made up of random
layers. Repeat this process until you've achieved a
thickness of 15mm. When viewed sideways, it should appear
to be striped.

2.
Using your fingers, squeeze and reduce one side of the
clay 'loaf' into a triangular log with a length of 30mm
as shown in picture. Wait around 20 - 30 minutes for
it to dry and then lay the 'loaf' flat, and slice sideways
to create two triangular slices (3 mm thick) of striped
clay.

Pierce a hole in the slices using the appropriate tool
from the Makin's Brand Clay Tool Set, and attach the earring
wires to the clay triangle. Hook the circular end of the
fish hook wires through the hole in the clay and close
the circle with pliers. Allow to dry for 24 hours. |
